Evening all, but it`ll be morning by the time I post this, I`m running a bit late these days.
N&G, love the photo of Cooper the puppy. Your not very nice soup reminds me of some friends from a long time back, we went for supper, and she`d made something from a new cookbook of unusual recipes. Apple, egg and onion fried up together, it was vile, and there we sat telling her how nice it was!
There`s been no snow here, thank goodness, hope it`s not on it`s way.
Talking of soup, that red pepper and paprika sounds tasty, I can only make celery.
Soop, more beautiful sunsets. Thank you to you and MacS for thinking of David.
Overthehills, have a lovely holiday, when do you go?
GreyD, that cake looks yummy.
MawB, I`ll have to watch that film on TV, it sounds like something that needs to be seen. Flynn sounds as if HE needs to be seen as well, bless his little socks!
GrannyQ, beautiful photos of beautiful poppies, just lovely.
Morethan, that party sounds wonderful, as does your lovely DIL, you`re all creating such memories.
Ann, sorry your husband didn`t behave at lunch, but it isn`t his fault, and I know your granddaughters will have understood.
Willow, love the pic of Alfie. If you are interested in Denzil Meyrick`s books, they start with Whisky From Small Glasses, then The Last Witness, then Dark Suits and Sad Songs, followed by The Rat Stone Serenade, then the latest one, Well of the Winds. They really need to be read in order.
Corner, those tree photos are lovely.
Me and Mia are just beginning the twice yearly battle of the clocks. She has her treats at 10pm, and every night she`s there on the dot waiting. Tonight, as will happen for a few more nights, she was waiting at 9pm, she didn`t appreciate having to wait another hour!
I`m bound to have missed someone, so apologies, me memory`s not what it was (which wasn`t great!)
