I like Radley bags so that is all that matters to me. What others thinks of them matters not a jot to me. I buy things for me, not thinking of others opinions.
I used to like Radley bags, but find that the corners get really scuffed and scratched because they don’t have metal feet. Am looking for a new favourite brand - any suggestions?
Kinder? kinder? To whom. Can I not say something which disagrees with your way of thinking janeainsworth ? Is everyone on here so sensitive that one cannot express a light remark about someone's choice? Anyway, it had/has nothing to do with you and I have no intention of shutting up. MYOB.
I would spend it on a one night stay at my local Premier Inn so that I can have an indulgent night to myself having a bath and watching tv on my own knowing that no-one will bother me and the dog will be at home with OH so no need to walk him!!! It should cost about £80 if I choose my time carefully so £20 for a chinese meal and a bottle of plonk toboot - bliss. The bath is what I am after having relinquished this at home in favour of a power shower. Fine for most of the time but I do still want a bath once in a blue moon.
Oops - seem to have posted in the middle of a "something or other" whereas I was innocently responding to the OP - PECS' definition of snobby is spot on imho
gabriella I’m not impressed by your faux indignation. Your comment directed at Millie was unkind, in my opinion. It was not a ‘light’ remark, it was deliberately unpleasant. Robust debate on the political threads where differences of opinion are inevitable and to be welcomed is one thing, but on the Chat forum, really if you can’t think of anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all.
I don’t think it is necessarily within the remit ofGNHQ in their role as moderators to rule on sheer bad manners and snobbery. However, if you are unaware of simple good manners GabriellaG don’t be surprised if others remark on it. “So passé” could have straight from an episode of “Keeping Up Appearances” Talking of TV programmes, have you ever thought of applying to appear on “Who Do You Think You Are?”
You on the bandwagon too MawBroon ? I thought ewe were a cut above following the herd. Still, why not tread in someone else's footsteps instead of ploughing your own furrow. It's a lot easier and, I suppose makes you more popular. The three words I wrote have become a stick with which at least three of you want to whack me. Carry on. If it gives you pleasure that's fine by me. There's no accounting for taste.
