Sending good wishes for tomorrow's appointment, soop. I went through something similar 61 years ago when I was 17. As there were no scans, mammograms or biopsies in those days, the surgeon (in Glasgow) removed it 'to be on the safe side' and it turned out to be benign. I still have the scar! So I empathise with what you are feeling right now and hope the outcome gives good grounds for optimism. xxx
Good luck tomorrow Soop and congratulations Galen and Baubles. I have spent a happy afternoon pruning autumn raspberries and just pottering in the garden in this lovely weather. Now I need to clean the hob ? before I can cook tea!
Thank you for your good wishes. I'm about to shower and wash hair and settle down to watch the fab programme about the lovely chap who raised a black jaguar orphan cub. We would have offered our services had he lived close by. Imagine sleeping in the same room as the cub and bottle feeding it every two hours!
If we're back home at a reasonable time, I shall pop into the kitchen. Should we be running late, I shall play catch-up with you on Saturday morning.
Please take good care of yourselves. You lot are special peoples.
All my very best wishes for tomorrow Soop, take care on the long and winding road. Corner, so sorry to hear that you have more family health issues. Ann, glad to hear that Molly has recovered. Soop, I can`t explain the firestick, because, like I said, I`m thick. I know that with it plugged in we can watch Iplayer, and catch up with missed programmes, it does other things as well, I believe, but it`s a bit beyond me!
Soop - you know where to come they don’t treat you right!
I’ve had a reflective day today; three years ago today I underwent my 80th operation and inadvertently changed the treatment path for the hundreds of thousands of people on our planet who share my wonky gene. The operation took over 12 hours and two teams of surgeons and had never been done before. I had nothing to loose and everything to gain. I give thanks for their skill daily.
I’m leaving a few marmite sausage rolls on the side for the sophisticates amongst us ?
80 mamissimo? A medal isn’t nearly adequate, how wonderful that oh so long operation was successful for you and has also helped others.
We also have a waiting game ahead callgirl, a relatively young person with a serious heart issue. I’m hoping for the best possible outcome for your son.
Good day today, success with cushions, also came across some outdoor tubs at a very good price, ideal for the front garden.
Apparently we are going out for breakfast tomorrow. Mr C has an unreasonably early medical appointment, routine thankfully, and has decided we will need breakfast to build strength for the very necessary food shop planned for later. No arguments from me. Take care everyone.
Adding my warmest wishes to those already expressed, for Soop, Callgirl’s son, Cornergran and anybody else who needs them. And a virtual cuddle to that gorgeous baby - congratulations to all especially granny Baubles ??
callgirl I hope your son hears from the doctors soon - the waiting is the worst. corner I wish your young relative well. soop again hoping your news is good.
My young friends husband is still missing. Not a good start to 2019!
At long last am slowly catching up, and I echo each and every sentiment posted Soop...........and a letter is winging its way right now.
Will be back again every time I am able to snatch those few odd moments........have a good day,sun shining here on the coast and what a lovely treat it is.
