Tiny flurry in North Essex this morning

If you have unwanted snow, can you send it here please?

Have two very sad toddlers with glum wee faces pressed to the window pleading for snow to come so they can play in it.

They remain unconvinced by my repeated explanations that producing snow is outwith my abilities.

We had a light sprinkling of snow in West Lancashire, and the roads and pavements have been like a skating rink. Walking the dog yesterday, I came a real cropper, skidding and falling over backwards! Luckily my husband was with me and helped me to get up.

Less icy today, thank goodness!

Yes, it's still a winter wonderland here near Loch Lomond. It was minus 6 yesterday morning. Sun was out earlier with a beautiful sunrise. Now it has clouded over, it's a grey sky. At least it's longer daylight now.

Snowy on the hills around here in Derbyshire and very foggy. Snow forecast for later on the local weather.

We have had some snow in the Scottish Highlands but it’s definitely melting today.

Ethel Rummykub is a fabulous game played with tiles as you would with Scrabble except they are all numbers. It is based on the card game Rummy. So with your 14 tiles each you sort them into either a run or 2 or 3 of a kind. Instead of suits there are 4 colours, red, black, yellow and blue.

Once you have mastered the basics of the game there are clever moves you can make using some of the tiles put down on the table by your fellow players.

The winner has got rid of all their tiles.

Sometimes you can get a set from a charity shop otherwise a set will cost £20 +

No snow here in northumberland coast. Although there is some in the hills. I want some snow. I love snowballs snowmen and fun with dgd. Please the powers that be send me snow

Still no snow in SW Wales. Though it is perishing cold and a bit of sleet was in the rain earlier

No! No snow where I am in NSW ?

Here in Lancashire we have lots of snow.. We are quite sheltered by the Pennines so it’s very unusual. It’s also very very cold. Not nice at all! Roll on two weeks when we’ll be in Portugal!

No snow here either but it is mighty cold.

There is snow up on Dartmoor apparently, but I'm just off the edge of the moors and this morning there was a bit of sleet which soon cleared up and now it's mainly a bright sunny day, but chilly.

No snow in Essex at the moment, a little sunshine.

A little here this morning (SW London) but already disappearing fast. Quite a lot of wet snow yesterday afternoon/evening.

No snow here in Mid Sussex. I like it in some ways, the look and the drama, but fear it in others. DD1 and her DH drive to work on country roads and DD2 commutes by train, which seems to be affected if 2 flakes fall.

We had a dusting overnight in Cambridgeshire and it's freezing this morning. DH has insisted on going fishing today so I'll be flipping furious if he gets a cold. His friend who takes him is still coughing!

MEN!!!

We had a snow shower here for half an hour last night in Surrey but it didn’t stick and none this morning. My daughter text a photo of snow in London whilst she was commuting home. I’m scared to drive in it in my little car so am willing it away as I work 2 days a week

Snow in Northants

Surprisingly, no snow in the NE of Scotland. In fact, it has been a glorious, sunny day but a bit chilly. When I see the news on the tv, do I feel smug? YES!!
It is long past 1.00am and there's no knowing what will happen through the night.

None here in south Devon, but then it's quite rare in my particular neck of the woods. Although, having said that, we did have it quite bad last year, but I'm hoping that was a one-off!

Snowing in NE London and my garden looks lovely even with the builder's rubble that covers it.

OMG it has been snowing in NW London. It has stopped now but my car and bins are covered.
