There is a special technique to Nordic walking. I joined a class run by my local council & I must say it was worth it.

I am thinking of trying some Nordic Walking Sticks. Is there a special technique in using them. I am a slow walker now as am always aware of my balance. I could not imagine striding along to the local shops with them---think I would feel a bit of a twit -- but would probably use them on a "walk".
