Happy News

Just wanted to share with you all the happy news that I got married yesterday !!!!
We have been together for almost 11 years and have 4 daughters and 10 grandchildren between us. We didn't tell anyone, apart from our 2 witnesses, that we were getting married. The logistics of getting everyone together were immense so we will probably have a big party later in the year. All the girls are very happy for us as I knew they would be.

Congratulations. We did the same after 7 years together, although we didn't tell anyone at all - we asked a couple of passers by to be our witnesses. We showed them our passports to prove we were who we said we were and afterwards gave them a tenner for a drink to say thank you for their time. They were a lovely young couple, students I think, who seemed chuffed to be asked. 22 years later we are still together and many of our friends who had big weddings have gone their separate ways, so from experience I can echo what others have said. Wishing you a happy long marriage. x
