I have to say that I don't like the word 'racist' as applied to anyone denouncing or objecting to a particular religion, or aspects/adherents of it. Race and religion are two different things. There are Muslims of many different races - Middle Eastern, African, SE Asian, etc., not to mention many western converts - I gather the young woman's jihadi husband is a Dutch convert.
It's not like anti-Semitism, where race and religion are nearly always inextricably linked, since Jewishness descends through the mother. Anti-Semitism is certainly racist.
Maybe we need a new word - religionist?
Before anyone wonders whether I'm 'religionist' as regards Islam, I lived for 13 happy years in Muslim countries, and have only fond memories of the people.
