I was at the surgery the other day--very dishy young male doctor---and as I left he said "Mrs C, you look amazing, for your age. I would have much preferred to have done without those three. I thought what a difference just three little words can make, for good or for ill, like these---
Please marry me.
It's a boy.
It's a girl.
I'm leaving you.
It's too late.
We're so sorry.
There's no hope.

What three word combinations have made an impact on you ?

chicken. Lovely question for me today!

I was ill yesterday and nearly all night with horrible migraine and painful sickness. Still feeling grim I am muddling around, in my pjs this a.m. and the Amazon big monthly heavy delivery arrived for the dogs' food and puppy pads.
Unable to move well, with a puppy gate by the door and another smaller but similar parcel still on the floor by the door from yesterday, I didn't know what to do.

I began apologising and said I was a bit ill.

Huge smile from the young man. In a strong accent I think may be Nigerian, he told me to do nothing as he lifted the huge box over the puppy gate nearly falling over it himself. As he left he said:
"God bless you and keep you , in the name of Jesus our Saviour!"

I felt as though the Spirit had washed right through me and I was healed.

What you doin’ today? (Four words, I know, but from my son who phoned on my birthday last year to make sure I was going to be in before making an impromptu - and very welcome - visit, complete with My lovely DiL and three precious DGC, driving nearly four hours across the country to take me and The Captain out to lunch).
