Is anyone else out there as mad as me, I have just cut the grass.

It does seem I will have daffs for St.Davids Day instead of having to buy them

DH mowed our lawn on Saturday and the daffs an tulips are coming up.

I have my usual bunches of flowers from Asda---daffs and pink carnations which go well together, colourwise. £4 !
Last years pot hyacinths in full bloom outside.
I love colour and also fragrant shrubs and flowers.

Yes DH did ours on Saturday, spring feeling everywhere her glorious day in the East Midlands. Also lots of people seem to be doing house jobs, fencing etc- just had all the materials delivered for our new patio.

Planning it for Saturday fingers crossed!

Time to get the lawn mower out again? task I loathe.

Go glad I’m not alone. Daffy are out, and the crocus. Lovely

It is beautiful isn’t it. Popped outside last night and couldn’t believe my ears. It was just getting dark and the birds were singing away just like it really was spring. Must admit I took a seat and listened for a while. (Grass could do with a mow now but have other stuff outside I want to do first. Won’t be long!)

I had my lunch on the patio today and was too hot! Off to cut the grass now, much as I hate doing it.

Went to a National Trust place today - glorious weather for February! These cyclamen were so pretty!

They promised us a warm day today. Instead it has been chilly , cloudy and damp. Still the garden shows Spring is on the way. I saw a mad bunch of goldfinches today flying around and tweeting loudly.

Went with our DGS to our local NT, the lawns was covered beautiful snowdrops and purple crocus.
It looked lovely in the glorious sunshine not a cloud in the sky

It was so warm we all had to strip down to our T shirts sunshine.

Annie agree it will be lovely to see the daffodils out for St Davids Day daffodil daffodil daffodil
