Emails re threads I have posted on.

I don't think I have ever had emails from threads I have posted on. I take it you mean "official" GN notifications that you have posted?

I always used to get an email to say someone had posted on a thread I had posted on.

I thought that was only on Mumsnet.

I've never had e-mails from threads I have posted on except when I was being warned that my post was going to be removed becuse I'd breeched the guidelines!!!!

Are you confusing GN with Mumsnet or Facebook, Dragonfly? I have been on here since 2011 and have always had to look onsite to find out whether anyone has posted on a thread I am on. You can speed that up a bit by looking under the "I'm on" button, but you don't get an automatic notification.

I get emails from GN, if anyone has commented on my original post.

Only emails I’ve ever had from GN is if someone has pm’d me.

I am beginning to doubt myself now. I am not on Mumsnet and I don't get them from FB. Strange! I am obviously going mad!!

No not going mad - just realised that it was because I had pressed the Watch this Thread button!

Ah! Light dawns! I've never done that.

I always have several threads in my Watching box at any one time, but have never had an Email! It may be a preference one can choose.

Elegran, yes threads I have followed in the past suddenly stopped sending notifications

crazyH have been a member of GN since it's inception, and have never had an email saying that someone has commented on my original post!

I did NOT put that apostrophe in "its" !!!!!

There was a bit of re-organisation on GN recently. Maybe that option in Watch was removed then. I don't think it ever existed just for the posts not being watched. Why not send a message direct to GN HQ (at [email protected]) and ask them?
