When I see films of women during WW2 they mostly seem slim and wore dresses with belts which emphasised their figures. I was born just after the War and we ate 3 meals a day and no snacks and we were all slim.
I despair how things have changed now and it seems to be the norm to be a lot larger. We have a different lifestyle now which is not conducive to slimness.
