Have to agree that the funeral plans/over 50's life insurance get right on my very last nerve

I can't stand the ad for Oral B toothpaste, the one where she witters "I didn't even know oral B made a toothpaste". Her voice is so annoying I have to mute the sound until it goes off.
I also really dislike the man sitting on the toilet with his wife in the bath.
The man (and June)on the Sun Life adverts are irritating.
I could go on and on - but I won't LOL X

Can't help laughing! It's true that we notice the content of the ad more than we notice the product they are promoting. I shall be glad when we reach the end of August and there will be no more PPI ads making us feel like morons because we haven't claimed yet.

We’ve had a thread about this recently. Personally, I think there are far too many ads plugging the same thing. Funeral plans spring to mind, and equity release. Most are inane and make you wonder who on earth gets paid for coming up with such drivel.

I loathe the meerkat ads, and that one with two Marcus Brigstockes. What's that about? No, don't tell me..

We are currently watching a lot of sky news - dh's preferred option - so there is no escape. I swap to bbc news given half a chance!

I quite like the sausage dog but have no idea what he is advertising.

We also like the girls in that pedal thing - it's a holiday company!

When you think of all the money that is spent on TV adverts, it's funny that most of us can't remember the product because we're focusing on the things that annoy us.

I've mentioned this on another thread but poor old Graaaayummm climbing the stairs with a pile of clean laundry then being told he needn't bother makes me want to throttle his wife.

Never see any adverts, we record all TV for the specific purpose of fast forwarding the adverts.

I get frustrated by some of the ads on Classic fm. It is the only station that plays quiet music at bedtime, so I like to have it on as I drop to sleep; but hate being woken by a sudden jolly jingle about heamorrhoids.

I agree LullyDulley! GN do something about it. It certainly doesn't work in my case.

The MOST annoying one is the one at the top of this page offering a £50 voucher. It is at the top of every thread and driving me mad.

The one with the woman, dressed in red, who splits into different versions of herself (I think it is for a mobile phone company).

The stupid one with the man clipping his hedge as his neighbours are working out - think it's an estate agent ad.

Perfume ads - just don't get them.
