How can it be so nice on the East coast and pouring here!.

Another beautiful sunny sparkly morning makes me grateful to be alive and well albeit recovering from this rotten stroke. I’ve found great strength from my Gransnet chums I’ve fortunately and successfully claimed for additional social hrs and these start this week giving my husband a wee break from supporting me inbetween my carers he definitely needs the break he was getting real tired and his health was gradually getting affected. I’m so pleased for him now we can laugh again. The tears are drying up. Just happy tears.Thank you everyone you are all so dear to me hope to see some of you soon. Take care everyone

Hi Baggs thank you so much for the lovely card and beautiful handcrafted placemats sent to me they fairly cheered me up so much work and thought has been put into these during this period in my life I’m pleased to say I’m improving so much and I’ve had an exceptional happy weekend with family and friends celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary. I like Bags posts, she comes across as a maverick, seeing the bigger picture, at times she can be very direct and to the point, although conversely she also wanders off on a tangent where she seems to be swimming against the tide of thought, nevertheless an independent thinker. I'm glad we have people like her on this site, incidentally, I feel the same about you POGS so keep posting!

I saw her posting yesterday,I like her straight to the point way of thinking and her witty comments.

I have missed Bags posting.

I miss her common sense approach and always found her fair and enjoyed reading what she posted.

She pops up in the kitchen .

Soop posted a photo of she and Macsorran meeting with Baggs for coffee the other week.
They keep in regular contact, so I'm sure Soop would let us know if anything was wrong.

I like her posts, they are concise and too the point, unlike my rambling ones.
Having meet Baggs a few times, I can tell you she is extremely witty and good fun.

She posted on the thread about cancer sufferers deciding whether or not to carry on with treatment.

She put an emoji in response to a post someone had started about “earthy” potatoes. Apart from that I haven’t seen her in a while.
