We are again blessed with such a warm day of glorious sunshine with much the same promised for the weekend.
Having totally missed out on our Golden wedding celebrations last December with my dear one in Hospital having had a stroke, believe me G Q and GG13 I fully know how blessed you must feel as you celebrate yours as a couple.I sincerely hope it will be as pleasureable as when you said those two little important words.
As for trying before buying quite frankly I do see the sense in that too!!!
We can but hope we reach our 60th in style.
Indeed Soop that was such suberb enacting from the young Corrie couple, and because it is so very close to our situation (except their youth and babe) I am not too sure it will be wise to continue following it.The jury is out.
But yes, on the other hand, a very touching story line for once.
Whilst I understand your desire to have some meals thought out and prepared Kitty I have to relate yet another rather hilarious story of life in what my dear one has now nicknamed The Penitentionary!!!!!!......because you really do not know what may happen next and there are all sorts as residents!!
In fact he loves writing small quirky stories and is seriously considering writing about life in this place!
Last weekend one resident was duly celebrating not only his 82nd birthday, but also a family wedding. We had noted he was missing from the dining table where usually his voice is heard above most!
It seems our Fred had drank a few "sherberts" too many and was actually taken into Police custody, spending the night tucked up in a cell, because when trying to return on his quite powerful mobility scooter........... it hit the kerb and both bike and the very portly gent fell over!!!
Just imagine it..........drunk in charge of a mobility scooter!!!
He was brought safely back in a police van and it will be an occasion he will not be allowed to forget for a long while!!!
He has actually chosen to write to thank the Police for taking such good care of him!
I tell you life in this establishment has more sides to it than any holiday!!
Pleased your holiday is being chalked up as a winner Maw and now another great treat calls,Home sweet home and your Hattie...........those kisses will soon tell you how much you have been missed.
At long last my leg gash has been declared healed, however would you believe, on this same day I have had an appointment to attend a Minor Injuries Clinic in a distant Hospital with view of removing what could well be another BCC on the same leg.............and the one that already has had another skin cancer removed a few years ago.
Fingers crossed but all seems well with our house sale, but it will be such a relief when those contracts are finally signed.
Time to wave bye my dear kitchen friends, enjoy the weekend and TOYA XX
