Having lots of sex, thinking back I wouldn’t of had quite so many headaches. ?

When the young girl in the hairdressers didn't offer to help me up after having my hair washed

When I would get up in the morning full of ideas of what I was going to do - and do them

Not wondering if it would be OK to leave a party first (used to be last and more often than not be the one giving the party!)

All of the above , it seems to just happen all of a sudden . I used to walk so fast my daughter always said when she was little, slow down mum I cant keep up , now its me saying it to her

Could go through airport security without setting off the alarms.

I remember when I could go out out for the evening and not be thinking of my bed once the clock struck ten.

I remember when I could fasten the buckles on my sandals without huffing and puffing and extreme effort.

I remember when I had all my teeth.

I remember when my babies were adorable little cuddly babies.

I remember sitting up all night with a sick child.

I remember (very well) when my poorly little four year old vomiting all over my bed at 2.00am.

Wear high heels all day at work, and then go out for the evening and dance into the early hours and having missed the last tube walk all the way home in the same high heels.

How did I do that?

I can still touch my toes but kneeling is agony. Walking up hills.
For those that have problems opening bottles - even the push and squeeze type, jam etc jars, ring pull cans, nail varnish bottles etc, Kuhn Rikon do an absolutely excellent solution (a bit pricey but well worth it, excellent quality)

The Kuhn Rikon can opener is also excellent, opens the can by de-bonding the lid so no sharp edges and never touches the contents so very hygienic.

A while ago I had a bad cut on my foot. So I just hobbled to the bathroom to put my foot under a running tap.
That's when daughter went: wow, mum, that's impressive.
I don't know why she's surprised we both go to the same Pilates class and she's always telling me to stop going too far with some exercises.

Petra I can still do that too - put the backs of my hands flat on the floor, straight legs as well, so when I tell people I can't see my feet, it's not because the tum is in the way but lack of eyesight!

I feel a bit sorry for GNetters who still don't like their looks - what a shame. I'm pretty chuffed with mine really.

I'd like to be part of a skipping game again.

It seems only yesterday I could do headstands! Glance at myself approvingly in shop windows rather than avoid them.
I could bite into an apple without worrying that I'd crack a tooth.
All the others but I still enjoy not having periods (see other thread) not needing baby sitters. not being mortified at not being invited somewhere and not having to go out to work on a cold dark Monday morning. Yay!!!

Anyway I am very envious.

I can still do most of the above but not the dance all night in high heels. I can't drink as much as I could.
But I can still not only touch my toes I can go further onto my hands.
My daughter is amazed that I can still get my foot into the bathroom basin.
I do balance on 1 leg ( alternately) while cleaning my teeth.
I also do my pelvic floor exercises while cleaning my teeth.

When I didn't feel horrified by a glance in the mirror.
When I was one of those sitting on the floor, not standing, in a group photo.
