She didn't say a word in response. Smiled rather weakly.
I had just been to her to replace my lost library card.
She brought my info up and said that I had requested four cards already. I had online but got stuck. 3 were in my full name and one in my shortened version. I think she had already put me down as slightly odd

I laughed out loud- I think the builders working here thought I had gone bonkers.

Oh dear that did make my laugh - senior moment right enough .

Senior moment or just me?
Booked library books out on automatic machine thing. Message came up
'One of your books hasn't checked out, DON'T SAY A WORD. Go to desk please'
Off I go to desk and stood there smiling...not speaking as requested. I lay my 5 books on the desk. The librarian smiled back at me. I whispered "It said not to speak". I then looked down at my pile of books. Title of one was ....DON'T SAY A WORD....gulp
