Good Morning Tuesday

Good morning all from lovely sunny Devon. Need to go to the Library later & grab a few bits of shopping.

If it stays nice I shall be out in the garden later possibly just sitting reading

I really ought to get on with the housework, clean oven, ironing etc but I'm prevaricating as usual, at least I live on my own apart from cat but I should have a visitor next month. It is the upside of being a widow, I only have myself to please although I still miss DH after almost 7 years

NannyJan53 - thank you. It is such a shame you won't be able to attend your Aunt's funeral but I know you will be with her in your heart and soul at the time it takes place. Sometimes you just can't help these things. Believe it or not I am still trying to contact a relative who lives in South Africa I just can't get a hold of her but I will keep trying - thanks again

Up until 5 minutes ago the sun was out and it was lovely then all of a sudden it's covered over with a grey blanket of cloud. No consistency here----except when it rains !

I've been sitting dreaming of good times in Mijas and Benalmadena. Many many photographs and souvenir postcards of Spanish ladies in their finery. A visit to Ronda was memorable when the coach stopped up in the mountains to view a golden eagle in flight. What a sight !!

Will have to stay put this morning while I wait for a parcel as I've been e-baying again. Apart from that just a bit of a scurry around the local shops as I want a tube of tomato puree to make fresh tomato soup for today.

Good morning from east London, sun is shining, temperature has yet to lift. I know that as we now have the bathroom back and it was like a steam bath going in there after DP’s shower. Wander up the street this morning to have DP’s phone checked (no one can hear him and the memory card won’t work), dermatology appointment at lunchtime then school pickup later. Have a good day.

I didn't do too well yesterday, in that I got the appointment time wrong for my eye test.
I felt so stupid, and now have to wait until next week, the day before my pre-op, before they can fit me in.
The upside was, that I unexpectedly met a friend in town, and we had a reviving coffee and good catch up chat.
Great excitement here, as we are off to see our new car this afternoon, and get some paperwork done.
Gillybob, nice to hear that you and Mr G had a slightly better night.
NannyJan, we have been on that aqueduct, spectacular isn't it?

Sorting out our malaria medication this morning, then hairdressers, school run and joy of joys taking a GC to a birthday party. I shall have to stay with them until D finishes work!!!!

We have hospital appt later. Our young German helper/volunteer is building us a new back gate. He's making a good job of it. We had to go to 4 places before we found the materials. He couldn't understand why the garden cenre is mostly just a cafe and sells clothes and cards!

Kitty, there was a piece on BBC Scotland last about an App for dementia sufferers, which allows a music playlist to be created to unlock memories.

There was also a clip about a concert for dementia suffers.

A quick Good morning from the NE coast when’re we have a bright but chilly start to the day.

After a slightly more restful night, my Tuesday breakfast cafe is open for business with 3 hungry children to feed. The usual wide variety on offer plus a couple of new things to temp. I don’t have little Evie today as my DD’s shifts have been changed (oh how hard they like make it for working mothers) Then it’s school runs and seeing to my dad. Before a couple of hours in “that place” then school runs back to mine. I will deliver them home at about 6.30 pm after they have been fed.

I’m so sorry your holiday is coming to an end Urmstongran and that you will be back to your beloved Malaga soon.

To all this looking forward to trips, treats and travel I hope you enjoy yourselves.

Good Morning from a very sunny Black Country.

Had a lovely day yesterday on our U3A coach trip to Llangollen and a canal boat trip which included going over the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct.

Today, I have no plans, may ring my friend and see if she fancies lunch out somewhere.

Urmston Benalmadena Peublo is our favourite place to stay.There are many lovely restaurants to eat in. We have been to Mijas on the bus, quite a ride up into the mountains. Enjoy your last day.

A busy day ahead.Our youngest daughter is starting some treatment for her EDS today so we are heading over to Stafford to look after DGS.It is the first time since she was diagnosed at seven years old,she is 30 in two weeks,that she is having treatment tailored for her condition.
Our elder daughter is being monitored again today,she is 38 weeks pregnant,so we will be heading over to North East Wales later on to look after our DGD.
We have tickets to see Louis Theroux tonight,hoping to get there but que sera,sera.

A morning doing a few odd jobs, changing the bed, cleaning bathrooms, then a Health Walk after lunch followed by coffee and a chat.
