Agree. Many fat reduced foods like yogurt have artificial sweeteners added.
When I started sucking sugar-free sweets because I have dry mouth I quickly found they gave me constant stomach ache and nausea.
Many foods now have their actual flavour swamped by the overwhelming sweetness.

Whilst I get the importance of encouraging people to reduce their sugar intake, is it absolutely necessary to substitute sugar content with sweeteners? Surely it would be better to reduce the sugar and re-educate the palate to become accustomed a less sweeter taste?

I personally cannot stand the taste of sweeteners , in fact some of them give me headache. I've bought beans, and soups and other tinned goods recently that have tasted awful due to the amount of sweeteners in them, I personally would prefer to have a less sweeter taste.
