We'll be doing this for the first time this year. Our poll cards arrived this morning so I visited the website but it didn't make it clear whether you fill it in online or print it off and send it by post.

I rang our local council and listened to Vivaldi for ages only to be told to visit the website. Before I had a chance to say I'd already done that she rang off. angry

Help please!

Looks like you have to print the form off for each of you and then post them.

We received our poll card today-it is only to inform the date of the election and that we will receive our ballot papers around 25th November which we will complete and return by post.

I have just done this, print the form and send it to your local office , address is under yourvotecounts. I am going to be away that is why I have asked for a postal vote.

You'll receive your ballot papers in the post and can send them off or deliver them to the polling station on polling day - if you can't make up your mind until the last day.

I didn't know you could vote online.

Yes, this is what we did. We are away in Germany Tues-Fri, the week of the election.

No, you can’t vote online.

Thanks, everyone. I'll wait for the ballot papers to arrive.
