Are your feelings like the weather?

I tend to be very affected by any kind of disagreement. I get really affected if I've had an argument by my daughter or my partner and can find it quite hard to function or think about anything else.

I'm not sure there's much I can do about it. It's just part of who I am.

Does anybody else find their 'feelings and emotions' can change like the weather? One day or even part of a day I can feel fine and then suddenly my mood changes. Sometimes it maybe because something has happened. I am aware that for some people that if whatever has happened to them they probably wouldn't have batted an eyelid. Is it just that I am unable to go with the flow of life? Is it I just need to learn to be more content in general? I just so wish I didn't feel the 'lows' quite so much as I do. I would rather not have the 'ups' being quite so 'up'. I would much prefer to be on an even keel in general. It is nothing to do with the weather or indeed the time of year. I have felt like this since being a very small child.
