Do a thumbs up on another poster .

Delete my sent message when it’s wrong .

Both of those Gemini1789 and for the last page to come up first on any thread IYSWIM!

Knittynatter Fri 13-Dec-19 08:41:41

Definitely a thumbs up, or a laughing emoji!

Hi Pantglas - go to top of the thread and press 'flip' I think you will get your wish for last page on thread first! smile

Squiffy Fri 13-Dec-19 08:44:57

Pantglas2 Near the top of this page, just under Last Day/FAQs, you’ll find Customise. You can switch to oldest posts first on there. HTH

Use preview before posting.

Simples!

Or bookmark the last post you read and the thread will default to that point.

These facilities are not available on the mobile site.
grin kittynatter I've always interpreted this as a laughing emoji, is that not how others see it ?
??

Pantglas2 Fri 13-Dec-19 09:57:07

Thanks for the tips ladies x

EllanVannin Fri 13-Dec-19 09:59:16

I'd like to see emoji's at the top of the page so that you can just highlight whichever is appropriate. I do favour a simple life smile

Gemini1789 Fri 13-Dec-19 18:22:07

Thank you Dannirae. That works for me ( ipad). ?

The format does seem to encourage much actual inter -communication - people mostly seem to give their own individual advice or opinion on an OP's subject one by one and one after another with even the OP often not replying much - sometimes not at all even after multiple pages of comments.

bingo12 Fri 13-Dec-19 21:02:15

That should be -''The format does NOT seem...''!!! Also posted messages cannot be corrected!

fatgran57 Fri 13-Dec-19 22:55:05

A thumbs up emoji or laughing one would be good.

Also do others think that there are too many forum headings to post under?

Some of them hardly ever have a new post and others are quite similar - eg "ask a gran" "grandparenting " etc.

There are lots of options under the arrow on the top right of a thread on the mobile site and more under the three dots bottom right of each post.....you can create a set up to suit you.
I'd love a short window to edit though.
