Young boy with a new arm

This morning I read a heart warming article in the BBC news on line.

A five year boy in Yorkshire is filmed having his well designed, new arm fitted. His face is a picture as he is able to give his little brother for the first time hug and to move the limb for himself.

The arm was specially designed for him and paid for by crowd funding. Not sure how to add a link.

I saw this earlier today and I hesitated to open the video link because I knew it wou make me cry! He looked so excited didn't he? And when he hugged his little brother for the first time, I properly wept! A lovely, good news item. tchsmile

Very true timetogo. In Tescos earlier and the toy and food donation boxes were overflowing. Just one example of generosity. And where I live it's not just at Christmas. Lots of churches and community groups do so much for families, the elderly etc.

One lady I know gave her best coat to a refugee who was being settled in the village.
