We saw them a few months ago in Manchester. They were amazing. We hadn't seen them before and hadn't quite known what to expect. We were not disappointed! My husband plays the ukulele and I bought him a banjolele for Christmas.

love love love UO! saw them at a folk festival a couple of years ago, and they inspired me to learn to play! I am pretty rubbish, have no musical experience at all, but I can strum out a tune or two and am thoroughly enjoying it! Learning along with my 7 yr old grandson!

The uke is an extraordinarily versatile little instrument
When I saw this I immediately thought of NfkDumpling, of window cleaning fame, who once had George Formby as a neighbour so naturally she's always up the ladder singing "When I"m cleaning windows, " without a uke, I hope! grin

Lovely - thank you.
We saw the Ukulele Orchestra many years ago at the Drill Hall in London. Very enjoyable and funny.

The uke is an extraordinarily versatile little instrument, I have heard lovely classical arrangements played in it (JS Bach, Pachelbel etc) and it’s a great starter instrument for young ones.

He also contributes a monthly comp. article to "The Oldie" mag. (UK). No!; I don't get a commission.! grin
I think (hope) this link leads to an application form for his newsletter, but if it's only the performance you need, try YouTube. Good Luck

They are brilliant aren't they? Love that particular song too.

I guess the title of the song refers to us GNetters?
