In order to be tempted by these offers, you have to see them.

Install Adblock.

I didn't even know there were ads on GN.
Or FB for that matter, well I knew they existed but I never see them

NewChic is back!!

I thought some of the knitwear on Damensein looked rather attractive so I did look on the website but it seemed too cheap to be good quality.

Nortsat46 Mon 13-Jan-20 23:37:14

Thank you Meryl.
I had quite an exchange with Floryday to be refunded for two very low quality tops. Got my money ... but it was a tedious experience.

It’s useful to hear others views on Irisruby. Their clothes look so pretty that even my partner noticed them and offered to buy me a jacket from there. I advised him not to ... just had a bad feeling about the great look of the clothes vs the low prices.
We steered clear ...

IrisRuby is back, lurking on the right hand side

shock thank you very much for this merylstreep I have been wondering as their clothes look so lovely but something (price) made me hold back!

M0nica Mon 13-Jan-20 22:24:42

I always google any clothing shop I haven't heard of, even if I am not thinking of using them and every one advertising on GN is a dud.

Surely anyone thinking about buying online from an unknown supplier checks them out first.

Just looked that on up. Another scammer. People are scathing about them.
Why can't HQ look these people up before they take their money ( for advertising on GN)
You don't have to be Sherlock Holmes, it's all there on FB.

Callistemon Mon 13-Jan-20 20:56:34

Damensein?
Is that another one?

I was tempted by the knitwear.

Callistemon Mon 13-Jan-20 20:55:47

Oh, thanks for the warning.

The adverts came up immediately I opened this thread!

Callistamon
It took 2 emails to HQ to get IrisLilly taken down. They assured me that they had been removed but they still keep popping up.

There are a lot of vulnerable people who could get scammed.
Even paying by PayPal you won't get your money back.

Callistemon Mon 13-Jan-20 20:35:08

Thanks MerylStreep

I must say I was tempted to take a look but hadn't as yet.

GNHQ - can you be more aware and stop this if you are being invaded by scammers.

Thank you.

Namsnanny
Part of the same company.

Namsnanny Mon 13-Jan-20 19:57:51

The only one I can see is called Modlily.

Namsnanny Mon 13-Jan-20 19:56:43

I'm not on fb, but if you say beware I will. Thanks!

MerylStreep Mon 13-Jan-20 19:51:05

I know that most of you won't be fooled into buying from these sites being advertised on GN.
I have contacted HQ several times about one site in particular: IrisRuby. It went down for a while but now it's back.

Another one is up now:Floryday. These people are some of the worst scammers on the internet.

If you have been tempted to buy, and are a member of FB, check them out there. You will see the truth.
