My current issue of The Oldie has an article titled "Beside the bonny Clyde" written by an author "searching for the ultimate experience. of British midwinter bleakness which took him to the banks of the River Clyde. It makes bleak reading; Although he doesn't mention it, I guess he must have been in the vicinity of Govan where I did a virtual tour thanks to Dr.G.

Crikey! When I was into taking family photos in our back garden it was hard enough to make sure there were no old bikes, lawn mowers, dustbins etc showing up in the final photo! Tended to take something away from the intended subject! No photo- shop or air-brushing then either
