So terribly sad to read what may be Oldgaijin’s last post. I hope you find peace and serenity ?

...am in Dubai for a few weeks at my daughters(new baby ) dont post often..mainly read...but am so sad re Oldgaijin...wonderful lady...loved your posts...sending love and tight hugs...God bless ..nitenite xx

I don’t normally frequent the Good Morning threads but took a look today. I am so sorry and sad at OldGaijin’s message. . How brave she is.

I’m sure it’s the same in all hospices but my youngest dd had the privilege of spending a week at the one I suspect OldGaijin will be admitted to. Dd said it was absolutely lovely there, not at all sad or depressing, and that patients live their best life in their particular circumstances. I hope OldGaijin finds tranquility there.

oldgaijin I have enjoyed “meeting” you and will miss you. I wish I had kent you in real life. May I say that the mutt will be allowed to visit you if someone can bring him in. I send you love.

Thanks Marydoll. It seems that she is being looked after which is a blessing. Hospices do a wonderful job in caring. It's strange to feel that we knew her and her mutt without ever meeting them but I think this has touched and humbled us all.

Nothing to say except how sad for oldgaijin and how brave of her to post. By coincidence I have a relative who works in the hospice in Aberdeen and she is an angel as are her colleagues. oldgaijin will be looked after with love and compassion. Prayers for her and those who will be tenderly looking after her.
