Was just wondering if anyone will admit to entering this?

I wonder what my chances of winning are ?

Will the winner be announced on the "Won anything page" ?
wink

Desdemona Fri 07-Feb-20 16:03:10

Yes I entered, and would get a real buzz if I won! smile

Liz46 Fri 07-Feb-20 15:51:15

Will the winner be asked to give a review?

Pittcity Fri 07-Feb-20 15:27:14

No Gillybob, it'll be my name as I'm happy for you lot to imagine whatever you like about me wink

BlueSky Fri 07-Feb-20 08:55:55

I pass my old copies of 'Women's mags' (can we still say that?) to the lady next door who's 95. I'm always worried in case she's shocked or offended by the adverts for sex toys! grin

gillybob Fri 07-Feb-20 08:48:40

I’m tempted to enter now just so I CAN have my name proudly displayed on the “won anything thread” .

Can just Imagine it “Gillybob won the SEX TOYS” grin

Then when I’m late posting on the Good Morning thread everyone will think I’m up to no good grin

BlueSky Fri 07-Feb-20 08:29:19

I agree LullyDully more suitable for Mumsnet. Now don't shout me down all at once! grin

Am I the only one who thinks this is an odd competition for Gransnet?

BBbevan Thu 06-Feb-20 18:53:26

Well that would be alright Liz46, as long as a demonstration is not required

Liz46 Thu 06-Feb-20 15:19:00

My husband suggested that the winner be presented with their prize on tv!

NatashaGransnet (GNHQ) Thu 06-Feb-20 14:43:21

Rest assured, we'll contact the winner to ask if they want their username posted on the 'Won Anything?' thread, so we won't post who won on the forums without permission if anyone's worried about that. smile

BBbevan ???

Callistemon Tue 04-Feb-20 22:51:41

Jane10 could that work as a de-bobbler on jumpers?

MissAdventure Tue 04-Feb-20 21:12:19

A milk frother comes to mind.

Jane10 Tue 04-Feb-20 20:39:25

Wind double sided sticky tape round it and apply to hair in need of back combing. It fluffs it up very well. Apparently.

Sparkling Tue 04-Feb-20 20:36:25

Would it save me buying another stick blender?

Chewbacca Tue 04-Feb-20 20:20:31

Vibrators make an excellent measured irrigation system for hanging baskets.

Fill a 1 litre plastic coca cola bottle with water. Cut a small hole in the screw on cap. With gaffa tape, strap the vibrator to the water bottle, making sure it's secure.

Suspend the upside down bottle of water/vibrator from a hook over the basket. Switch vibrator on and small measured doses of water will be delivered for as long as your batteries last.

My kitchen ceiling needs skimming - is it good for mixing plaster?

Jane10 Tue 04-Feb-20 19:59:42

Perhaps we could enter under assumed names and if we won we could arrange for the prize to be sent to some unsuspecting person. I've got a few people in mind...

BlueBelle Tue 04-Feb-20 19:41:37

Is ‘fluff up my meringue mix* a euphonium Kalu ???

MissAdventure Tue 04-Feb-20 19:12:37

Well, we live in hope.

BBbevan Tue 04-Feb-20 19:10:47

Would it be strong enough to mix concrete. We have some paths to lay

Kalu Tue 04-Feb-20 18:14:21

This could well be the answer to fluff up my meringue mix. Oh so many uses?

lucywinter Tue 04-Feb-20 18:06:49

(Not sure my previous suggestion would be such a good idea actually)

So please don't try it at home.

lucywinter Tue 04-Feb-20 18:05:36

Really Fennel? I can understand, perhaps, using an electric toothbrush as a vibrator, but the other way round? confused

Fennel Tue 04-Feb-20 18:01:14

I think I remember that someone once suggested using one to brush your teeth?
