How many photos do you have?

I’ve got a wooden chest full of photos, and a wardrobe full of albums, plus the 3000+ on my phone, my daughters will definitely want them, my son would probably chuck them in the skip

I go through mine every so often and get rid of ones that are ‘scenic’ and really mean nothing to anyone but me. I’ve a few albums but whittled them down to two shoe boxes now.

They might not Nandalot but that’s not a reason to chuck them out, if it still gives you pleasure to look at them.
However, if you’re thinking of throwing them out, it might be nice to see if your DC want them.
My Dad was a keen amateur photographer & I still have his photos from when my sister and I were born. There are lots of our wider family and friends too. I don’t look at them very often, but I couldn’t throw them out.

Mine are all in albums with dates & captions. Four shelves of them!! The children love to look at albums featuring themselves but I don’t imagine anyone would be interested in out holiday photos over the years!

We used to store our photos under the spare room double bed after they broke the floor of a wardrobe through their weight. Well, we had to make some running repairs to the bed yesterday and had to clear what was underneath. I now realise we have four under bed storage boxes and 6 shoe boxes full of photos not counting the 7 albums on a shelf. Will our two children really want them when we go?
