Incredibly sad to hear this news tonight about Caroline. I remember watching her in Strictly every week and was so pleased when she won with Pasha. She did seem to have a very troubled personal life and the last few weeks must have been hard with a court case looming.

I dont agree that people were wrong to call for het suspension.
If you or I were awaiting trial for assault we would be suspended from work until the trial. I do not think people were wrong to call out TV producers on that..

Thats not trial by media IMO. Its standard to be suspended until you have a "real" trial with that sort of case

Very sad. I will always remember her Argentine Tango on Strictly. She wore purple and no-one has ever danced it so beautifully.

I do wonder if social media trolls have been hounding her.( Never seen Love Island but remember her on X Factor.)

I have been aware of her from Strictly and the Court case. It is so sad that a woman of her age feels it is the only answer.

I only know of her from the domestic abuse case I don't really know anything else about her to be honest.

What a sad way to go. I’ve heard about her just from the younger ones at work and I know that’ll be the whole conversation Monday when I go in. All I can think off is how tormented she must of been and our press and social media need to take some responsibility.

I thought so ticking, just checking it is the same person. I loved her on that programme, seemed genuine. How absolutely awful.

She actually won Strictly and was fabulous on there. She has taken her own life. Just tragic.
