I have just read this online and I’m very shocked. I can’t say I know much about her but watched Love Island last year. I know she’s been charged with assaulting her boyfriend but he was standing by her.

I just think it’s very sad.

paddyanne Is right, it isn’t possible to prevent someone taking their own life. It’s also not always possible to accurately asses the level of risk. Peopke are skilled at saying ‘I’m fine/good “ when they just aren’t.

In my experience if someone wants to kill themselves nothing will stop them .A young friend crashed his car in an suicide attempt,he survived the crash and was admitted to the mental health unit when his injuries allowed it.After several weeks there he was deemed OK to be released with support from a mental health worker,he committed suicide the first night he was home. His family were devastated they believed that all the effort they and extended family and friends were making to keep him occupied ,amused ,never on his own before the first attempt and after his release would have been enough to keep him safe .He was just 20 .
My neighbours daughter jumped from a bridge ,postnatal depression was to blame ,again the mental health worker thought she was "doing well" she left a 5 month old baby .Nobody can or should take blame ,we can only do what we think is for the best as CF's friends thought they were doing ,sadly sometimes nothing is enough to save them .

Salute the friends who are feeding the media

Sparklefizz Tue 18-Feb-20 12:35:35

What is the matter with you Suziewoozie? I am not saying that at all !!!

suziewoozie Tue 18-Feb-20 12:32:35

The DM is innocent, free the DM from unfair criticism. Salute the DM for fearlessly cashing in on CF’s death. Good grief

Sparklefizz Tue 18-Feb-20 12:21:27

Annie I totally agree.

notanan2 Tue 18-Feb-20 12:15:10

Sparklefizz I thought that about Amanda Holden who was only recently tweeting about the celeb scandals that she new were about to break..

Anniebach Tue 18-Feb-20 12:14:57

Agree Sparkle , I don’t blame the Mail if they are given/sold
photographs,

We still hear how the press hounded Diana regardless of the
fact she would contact certain journalists to tell them where
she would be and then she would be photographed.

If journalists search through people’s rubbish bins yes I blame
the press, if they hang around outside peoples homes too.
But not if they are given photographs or information by friends , the fault lies with the friends .

suziewoozie Tue 18-Feb-20 12:09:17

If that makes people who read it feel defensive, that’s their problem

suziewoozie Tue 18-Feb-20 12:08:24

Noons is saying her ‘friends’ are right but the DM with this ‘story’ is completely and utterly in the wrong and is upholding its gutter/sewer reputation. There’s no whether or not about it
Sparkle.

Sparklefizz Tue 18-Feb-20 12:04:42

Whether or not people blame the DM and other newspapers for printing these photos, we can't get away from the fact that all the luvvies are popping up with photos of themselves with Caroline Flack, often taken years ago, which presumably they are selling to the highest bidder. It's obscene.

suziewoozie Tue 18-Feb-20 11:59:28

No - I didn’t click. On Twitter a tweet shows an image of a few (2/3) of the photos and the headline - the Tweet is not from the DM. So it’s ‘free’

Stansgran Tue 18-Feb-20 11:55:40

I can't imagine any of this. Why would anyone want fame? And for such cringe worthy things like love island. And no I haven't watched it. Why are people' devastated'? Why do they read the vitriol they are said to receive?why not just block or delete?

notanan2 Tue 18-Feb-20 11:54:32

I only know about it from this thread

notanan2 Tue 18-Feb-20 11:54:07

I havent looked either..

Anniebach Tue 18-Feb-20 11:49:48

I haven’t seen them, did you ‘click’ suzie ?

suziewoozie Tue 18-Feb-20 11:49:17

???????

Anniebach Tue 18-Feb-20 11:48:33

Yes suzie and do not judge my morals please.

suziewoozie Tue 18-Feb-20 11:47:58

Exactly not but you missed out ‘and by looking at them they increase the DM’s revenue’ . It’s all about ££££££

suziewoozie Tue 18-Feb-20 11:46:39

Of course it’s the DM which is responsible - they published the bloody photos. It doesn’t matter where they came from. ?

notanan2 Tue 18-Feb-20 11:46:36

Lets be honest, theyre there because theres an appetite for it.
People will look.

suziewoozie Tue 18-Feb-20 11:45:19

And the DM headline is known as ‘click bait’. It was deliberately worded to encourage a click ( clicks mean money)

notanan2 Tue 18-Feb-20 11:45:03

Rentals with high turn over often just stay up on the letting agents site

Anniebach Tue 18-Feb-20 11:44:41

Then it’s the Mail which deserves criticism

suziewoozie Tue 18-Feb-20 11:44:04

Yes I thought the photos looked like letting agents - in which case they are copyright and the DM must have paid for them. annie what a very odd moral position. Are you really saying the DM is let off the moral hook because someone else provided the photos? God give me strength.
