If you don't like something, change it. If you can't change it, change your attitude
Such lovely weather again! A day of nice surprises! I stumbled on a thread with the grand title; "Got to thinking just now - can we be nice about posters." (Urmstongran)
All good friendly positive stuff! But where are the jokes?
And I don't mean Scotch ones like "Comfy? Melbourne"
I'd rather die laughing!.
GreatNan would be spinning in her grave!
When I was carted off on Valentine's Day, there was a thread on Chemotherapy which, being a very relevant subject, or so I thought, had been deleted when I "got" back. It had some useful posts, but when I asked HQ "Why!" they said it was 'dodgy'! How they can tell, I just don't know.
The hospital I was in was where my dear Vera died, Christmas Eve 2015 and where I'd spent every day and it was a trip down memory lane to visit her room in the palliative care ward. No real emotion involved; just calm reflection, sadness to think we had clung together for just over 62 years until cancer "us did part" You don't really know what you've got until it's gone!
It's a neat 74 bed hosp, unlike the monsters being built everywhere and where I"d prefer to die if it doesn't happen at home first, or under a bus along with Freda!
Any way, enough of that!
No more problems with BPPV, I'm pleased to say and also keeping up the coffee therapy!
Our Michelle (remember? Bournemouth, beige cardis!) and DH have just returned from a holiday in Thailand with no virus or quarantine problems' Our economy is still suffering the absence of Chinese tourists and students.
Have we any current subscribers to "The Oldie" mag? You should, it's a very erudite publication and, who knows, if we have a combined GN group we might be able to negotiate "deals" Please think about it! Only £4.75 p. month.
I've copied the aforementiond thread to read at my leisure whilst sitting out in the sun with a cup of coffee and before it disappears for whatever reason. I see you've placed me with the "Single Ladies of the Jacaranda Retirement Village"
Sounds good! Do you think they could massage my BPPV back to normal?
Oopsadaisy I'd love to chat about that, whenever. PM if it suits.
Fatgran You frightened the life out of me! First you said you'd scoured the obituaries and then I see your post under "bereavement"! Wasn't it Oscar who had something to say about this fake news, or was it Mark Twain? Whoever! things have settled down!
Oh well! more home visits by 2 nurses and Kath. my carer tomorrow! Can't say life gets tedious at the moment!
