Words with Friends - Chat

Hope I haven't put people off this game, I realise you can switch off the chat for some players if you want to.
Trouble is I don't want to switch chat off altogether some players may be lonely and some chat can be quite entertaining and funny.
Most of the ones I play tend to have pictures of their pets on their profile the same as me. Don't want to frighten anyone with a picture of me.

I play it and enjoy it.

I play scrabble, (far too much) with friends, with anyone and have never had a problem but then my profile shows me with my DGS!! The men* do like to win though and if I win more than once they stop playing.

I used to chat a bit and made online friends who became friends on FB though never close infact I may have been unfriended (will check) One chap visited and we had a chat over coffee in RL with DH who didn't mind at all..

* sexist comment sorry.

I play a Word with friends 2 a lot and all the men who are purporting to be American which I very much doubt and with a variety of photos which I also don’t believe for one minute constantly want to ‘ be my friend’ and connect with me I apparently have a beautiful smile I sometimes lead them on and have a real laugh but after 7 years playing I got bored now it’s just too much and too many but just this week I notice it’s changed and now you have to accept the conversation before you read any of their drivelling so I just haven’t accepted any and it’s so much better
I do enjoy the game though

Only with relatives or people I know. I ignore the ones that appear uninvited - some of them look a bit dodgy. It is hard to delete them though - so I just let them sit there unloved.

I play 3 games with DS1 and 2 with one of my children's other grannies.

I love it!

I only play with my cousin, I originally played with the players that Word matched me up with, but after being asked some rather dubious questions, (in fact, extremely dubious questions as in what do you have on under your dress) I stopped playing with Unknown’s.

Ha! I have the odd man who suddenly messages with “ Hi beautiful “.
I just stop the games immediately.
Sadly all online games, forums etc are so easy for groomed to infiltrate.

Hmmm... my husband is on that game a lot.
Only with personal friends though.
As far as I know... ? ?
