I was trying to remember if life was so contradictory for me as a teenager. I do recognise some of the expectations but not all. Maybe it was because the media pushing what to wear, how to look and how to behave was just in its infancy.
I watched it and wondered who is pushing this agenda. I am not sure it is misogyny, perhaps some, however I wonder if some, if not a lot of it is female generated.
What a sad state though.
