folding walking stick, any tips and which one?

I but Switch sticks - have several to colour coordinate and I search online for best prices.

Beware of ones that fold too easily. I’ve got one of those, walked through a field of cows, stick got caught in deep mud, folded and I ended up flat on my face in mud!

I got one from Boots. It is very sturdy.
My only complaint is that when I fold it up, I found putting the elastic over it rather fiddly, so I solved this with a small piece of 2 sided Velcro.
I have looked it up on Boots on-line - it says 'out of stock' but at least you can see it:
