...but not in government matters he’s sired an offspring

Aw, it's lovely to see the Tory ladies being so socially liberal - no accusations of feckless father of 5 or 6, to 3 or 4 women, old enough to be her father, over-population, never seen one his children, etc.

I wish Carrie and baby well, as I would any expectant mother but the sheer hypocrisy of the right is gallling e.g. The Sunday Telegraph's front page spin 'Number 10 wedding - baby on the way'.

Having a baby with a father who has abandoned multiple other children is clearly not a good idea. He's a serial adulterer too.

Ginny42; I can't begin to imagine what Nazanin's husband must be thinking and feeling at this moment in time. Maybe, just maybe it might make the Iranian's relent in some way and let her come home. I don't know how Johnson can sleep at night after what he has done to this poor woman and her family.

Just shows he can’t be trusted with a withdrawal agreement.

Absolutely heartrending to see the happy couple alongside a photograph of Nazanin Ratcliffe with a report that she may have contracted the covid-19 virus in prison. Her husband reports that the prison authorities have refused to test her although the virus is in the prison. Boris should think of her sometimes and reflect on his role in her continued imprisonment. However, he's moved on and now he has a new baby on the way and I imagine he gives little thought to that sad family.

I do hope that Carrie hasn't made the mistake of thinking she will change him. He won't do that to me, etc. I really wish her well.

So, they're engaged, but he isn't actually divorced yet is he??

NotSpaghetti Sat 29-Feb-20 23:42:51

Framilode ?

GagaJo What on earth would possess her to have a child with an idiot like him?
What a horrible thing to say about a woman having her first child. I wish her all the best and hope she has a healthy and happy baby.

There is the small matter of the fact that he is still married to his wife.

Anniebach Sat 29-Feb-20 22:12:45

It may work, he is 24 years older than she . Corbyn is 20
years older than the 3rd Mrs Corbyn

Greymar Sat 29-Feb-20 21:31:42

Apparently, the leader of the UK will 'grow up' in the process of having this baby. Wonderful, but in the meantime?

paddyanne Sat 29-Feb-20 21:31:06

mmaybe the sofa night was when she told him!

quizqueen Sat 29-Feb-20 21:31:03

I assume you all have Adonis as your partner as you find Boris so unattractive.

EllanVannin Sat 29-Feb-20 21:28:55

-----watching The Nanny ( Bette Davis ) appropriate ?

SueDonim Sat 29-Feb-20 21:19:44

I hope not, Greymar, otherwise Carrie will have a twelve-month pregnancy! shock

Greymar Sat 29-Feb-20 21:07:57

Is he not grown up yet then?

Greymar Sat 29-Feb-20 21:04:26

Was this the same night as the red wine on the sofa

Daisymae Sat 29-Feb-20 21:03:36

It seems that this will be his 6th child by 3 different women. What a role model.

Anniebach Sat 29-Feb-20 21:02:53

What experience did Blair share with Boris which caused stress ?

Fennel Sat 29-Feb-20 21:00:52

GagaJo I was being sarcastic.

Fennel Sat 29-Feb-20 20:59:08

ps I mean that he and Cherie had Leon, not that Leon joined the LP.

GagaJo Sat 29-Feb-20 20:58:12

Pretty sure Bozza isn't stressed.

Fennel Sat 29-Feb-20 20:56:37

It must be the stress of the job.
Tony Blair had the same experience:
