Too much today to take in all at once. When I looked this morning there was hardly anything! What a busy kitchen we do have.
ann, I'm disappointed that Molly has disgraced herself. It reminds me of the time a neighbour's cat, chasing a butterfly, wasn't looking where he was going and took a flying leap into their pond! I take it you don't have a pond?
That's a superb cat, Grandmafrench I had a black cat that used to lie on a small stool but forgot where he was and when he rolled over to wave his paws at me, he rolled off the stool, looking embarrassed as only cats can.
DiL has got over her dose of the virus and we are waiting to see if DS and the two GSs get it. Youngest GS was complaining that he isn't getting his Cokes, but DS has bought him a bass guitar to keep him occupied during his captivity.
My good neighbours got my shopping for me today so I have plenty to be going on with. On Monday I thought I would make an apple crumble but misjudged the quantities, including porridge oats and ended up with something like apple porridge - not disgusting but clearly far from a crumble. Yesterday's veggie crumble was, on the other hand, very successful, so must do it again. Risotto tonight - not bad but forgot the garlic.
DS1, who, at one point looked like getting stuck in Barbados, tells me he has reservations on a flight out on Friday. Meanwhile, he enjoys rum punch on idyllic beaches.
