Lurkers' Week: What games did you used to play at school?

Skipping games with a big rope, but it was usually a piece of washing line.

Riallio (not sure if spelt right...pronounced reeee-alli-o) and hanging upside from the top monkey bar over solid concrete.

Two ball (throwing 2 balls against the wall).

Hop scotch, Jacks & ball, skipping

Twiggy in 2 dens (the shooting areas on the netball court were the dens, someone was "it" and the aim was to get from one den to the other without getting tigged- then you were "it". Simple times.

Lots of them. In the playground, marbles was my favourite. The boys always thought they'd have the upper hand ? over the girls but I was rather good at the games and won many more than all of them . I only wish I'd kept most of the marbles because some of them were beautiful.

Lacrosse
