At least the panicked obesssion with a virus which, so far, hasn't done anywhere near as much damage as the regular flu viruses we get each year, has stopped people panicking and obsessing over plastic.

Ye gods, what next?

That's very true BradfordLass73. We haven't heard a word about plastic since the media had something new to create a panic about. I'm not saying plastic isn't an issue, it's just that the media love a disaster or better still pending disaster which they can report on ad infinitum.

The media can only cope with one obsession at a time and soon get bored and move on. Think CV may keep everyone busy for quite a while, though!

Is it a conspiracy to make us forget Brexit, the Royals.... ? I've forgotten the rest already!

vampirequeen Sat 14-Mar-20 09:00:57

That's how it works. Overfill your worry centres and you forget some of the things that were bothering you grin

I love a good conspiracy theory.
