So many dilemmas to concern us?
Which should I address first?
Truly, a dilemma.

So, if we are without our favourite face cream we can always go out into the garden in the dark and find a few slugs
.... or not
hmm

Callistemon Thu 26-Mar-20 23:12:14

Slugs are revolting but nothing smells worse than cat poo.
Unless it is fox poo, sometimes left as a present on our lawn!

Chewbacca at least one dilemma in life is solved, do I wash my feet in hot soapy water if I step on a slug or not. Clearly not.

Maggiemaybe Thu 26-Mar-20 22:26:31

Well, Chewbacca, at least it’s better than standing on a slug, as I did, in the dark, in my bare feet, in my kitchen! Yes, I’m still shuddering too.

Chewbacca Thu 26-Mar-20 14:49:49

No Annodomini I have especially ugly toes and the slug slime really didn't help! smile

Too many panes open! Aarh

Oops sorry posted wrong thread

ananimous Thu 26-Mar-20 14:24:57

Yes, mainly used it when I worked for CAB, lol!

annodomini Thu 26-Mar-20 13:39:53

Slug slime = hyaluronic acid which is used in skin care. Do you have specially glamorous toes, Chewbacca?

Chewbacca Thu 26-Mar-20 13:16:00

I went into the garden with bare feet once and stood on a huge slug envy not envy The slime oozed up between my toes and so I rushed to wash them in hot soapy water. But the hot water made the slime "set" and I had to pick it out bit by bit. <still shuddering>

Feelingmyage55 Thu 26-Mar-20 13:02:01

Yes the cat. I actually felt it squelch when you put the slipper on. I have to go and wash my feet now.?

Callistemon Thu 26-Mar-20 12:40:18

Feelingmyage was that the cat (a true story and it was a sheepskin slipper) or the cello?

Use disinfectant, stay safe
smile

Feelingmyage55 Thu 26-Mar-20 12:35:37

OP you could make a list starting with the most disliked task and finishing with the one you really enjoy. Recommended to me by a psychologist friend. Problem is I never get started.

Feelingmyage55 Thu 26-Mar-20 12:34:11

Callistemon. I have just spluttered on my clean top. The dilemma is whether to wipe it with a cloth or change it. No one will see me for another 11 weeks.

CherryCezzy Thu 26-Mar-20 12:23:59

Are you sure about that at the moment olliebeak? I love my ? but really in need of a prison break atm, can anyone help with digging a tunnel??

olliebeak Thu 26-Mar-20 08:55:51

@Greymar 'number 6'? I am not a number - I'm a free woman!

Kim19 Thu 26-Mar-20 08:26:41

Call, I'm always open to making new friendships but I'm certainly going to have a word with the old ones when the occasion permits. This will not be allowed to die!!

kittylester Thu 26-Mar-20 08:11:39

Callistemon Thu 26-Mar-20 00:00:53

Near genius, but I have to admit (grudgingly) that Julian does have the edge

Chewbacca Wed 25-Mar-20 23:54:48

Fair play Callistemon, you can't be expected to be a genius at everything!

Callistemon Wed 25-Mar-20 23:48:54

I can play but not as well as Julian Lloyd Webber!
wink

Chewbacca Wed 25-Mar-20 23:46:08

Cellist? CALLISTEMON fgs

Chewbacca Wed 25-Mar-20 23:45:25

Similar thing happened to my exH Cellist. He would insist on just dropping his coat on the floor when he got in from work, instead of hanging it up. But he stopped after our unspeyed tom cat pee'd on it, without anyone noticing. His journey to work on a jam packed bus the next morning was "interesting". grin
