I did an hour's river walk before lunch - it's sunny but quite chilly in the shade sunshine

Been for walk on moor. Seen oyster catchers and curlews as well as sheep and horses. Beautiful up there. Usual beauty spot closed off. Fair enough.

Yes an hours long Pilates class on line via Zoom - feeling very virtuous!

I have done my 10 minute workout, for older people, with Joe Wicks and a lovely walk along the sea front.

I've done my stretching and bending and physio exercises for my back. Couldn't be bothered to put on music today like I usually do.

I've been out for an hour walking my dog. It does us both good.

Gymstagran Thu 26-Mar-20 10:46:19

I've done the Joe Wicks daily PE. Will go out for a long, hopefully fast, walk later

We've just got back from our walk. It's easier for us to avoid contact with people because we live in a village. We saw and passed the time of day with a couple of people from opposite sides of the road. People seem more chatty than they used to be. Definitely an 'all in this together' thing going on here.

Yes, i am doing the 30mins recomended by GN , the Leslie Sansome walking one. Also like other have been working in the garden for a couple of hours each day while the weather so beautiful. Find myself going up and down stairs more frequently as DH has COPD and it puffs him out so anything he requires i go fetch. Usually am always out in the mornings so this is all new to me but glad it is helping him out. Oh and me i guess smile

No, going into the garden in a minute to start a little project so bending, digging lifting etc. No walk today with dog yet though as DH said he’d take him out as the dog tries to help me by digging holes.

Up and down stairs and strolling to the end of the garden and back!
My lovely hospital physio rang me yesterday to confirm what I had expected: that all OP appointments had been cancelled. We had a good chat and I was able to tell him that his exercises for my trapped nerve had been successful.

Going out for a walk in a minute. It was nice to sit in the conservatory chatting with DH. We put everything to rights, made some silly jokes and he is doing the ironing while I chat to you.

Times crossword, so mental exercise.

Missfoodlove Thu 26-Mar-20 09:26:34

Oh my exercise has been lifting a cup of tea to my mouth whilst languishing in bed reading gransnet and the online papers??

CherryCezzy Thu 26-Mar-20 09:15:53

Does putting the washing on the line count? No, I didn't think so. The answer to the question must therefore be no.

BlueSky Thu 26-Mar-20 09:08:57

We have scheduled our day so the one hour walk is between 3 and 4. We live in a quiet area so don't usually meet many people. I just wonder whether we will be comfortable being close to people ever again. I'm not very sociable normally so this is not terribly different.

cornergran Thu 26-Mar-20 09:07:45

Nope, still in bed. Will walk and garden later, honestly grin.

TerriBull Thu 26-Mar-20 09:04:47

25 minutes of yoga so far, will get out for a walk later.

tanith Thu 26-Mar-20 09:01:34

I went out for my walk at 7am as yesterday there were more and more people about so I thought early would be safer. I’ll do some excercise indoors later or some gardening.

etheltbags1 Thu 26-Mar-20 09:00:46

I've got a long day ahead of me why do excersise in the morning. Morning's are for curling up with a cuppa and toast and watching the news. I have got a tree to trim in the garden but I've got weeks to do it. No hurry to do anything active. Might go back to bed

Riverwalk Thu 26-Mar-20 08:48:40

Well it's a start but a bit more might be beneficial! grin

Gemini17892 Thu 26-Mar-20 08:46:15

I’ve been to the kitchen and back with a cup of tea. Does that count ?

Riverwalk Thu 26-Mar-20 08:43:52

I've done an hour in the garden - just sitting here admiring my handiwork.

I'll do a walk late morning in the hope it'll stop me eating lunch at 11.30!
