I like every biscuit going because I’m gluten intolerant and can’t eat a single one.

But my favourite are digestives, Shortbread and those pink wafers.

Only have one biscuit a day, either:
Ginger,
Digestive,
Rich Tea
Am a serial dunker.

I'm a splitter, naughty nibbler and dainty dipper.

Plain chocolate digestives for dipping
Shortbread for splitting (don't share thoughblush)
Ginger biscuits for nibbling

Rarely eat biscuits, I do not have a sweet tooth and find them too sweet. I quite enjoy a cheese straw.

If I do eat one, I prefer sandwich wafers.

Coffee for me (I can’t stand tea) with :-

Hobnobs
Biscotti
Shortbread

Biscotti for dunking

My favourite three biscuits are:

McVities Plain choc digestive
McVities Plain digestive
McVities Milk choc digestive

I don't have them (or indeed any biscuits) very often and I never dunk them as I like their crispy shortness.

Occasionally I will buy Ginger biscuits if my grandson is coming to stay. Then I'll dunk one in my Rooibos tea.

Definitely a tea dunker: Divestives, Rich Tea, Oaties, all the old fashion favourites! brew

GrannyGravy13 Fri 27-Mar-20 18:51:42

The only biscuit I dunk is a Rich Tea in a cup of tea.

SueDonim Fri 27-Mar-20 18:50:31

Can a Tunnock’s Caramel Wafer count? I just gobble it down, no dunking. blush

I like Abernethy biscuits which I may or may not dunk.

Ginger snaps which get dunked.

Curlywhirly Fri 27-Mar-20 18:41:56

Ooh, definitely not a dunker, I like my biscuits crunchy. Favouites are: dark chocolate cover ginger ones from Aldi, they are just gorgeous; dark chocolate KitKats; and those that look like two rich tea sandwiched with chocolate cream that you used to only be able to get abroad, again from Aldi.

Ah, now, many years ago, a friend and I were thinking about writing and publishing a book on dunking!

(Don't laugh, we envisaged it as a sort of "ideal stocking filler" type thing!)

We had our research mapped out, what to dunk in what, and where to dunk.

There were plans to go to the Dorchester (and other upmarket venues) for either morning coffee or afternoon tea, and blatantly dunk, just see if any eyebrows were raised.

This research never actually took place blush

However, other tests were tackled enthusistically!

We discovered that M&S All Butter Danish Biscuits were particularly suited to dunking in Amontillado Sherry, and that Maryland Cookies worked very well with milk.

Longues du chat (sp) were tolerable dipped in orange juice, but a bit of an acquired taste.I

Brandy snaps, although not strictly speaking a biscuit, can go well with Horlicks, as per if you make "special" Horlicks wink

Mine are:
Digestive
Garibaldi
Rich tea (for dunking)

boheminan Fri 27-Mar-20 18:11:18

Definitely a digestive dunker. Fave biscuits? Oaties, Wafers, Ginger nuts

Namsnanny Fri 27-Mar-20 18:10:00

Odd one now and again, crunchy, nutty and some times chocolaty of course!

I make my own usually, a couple of times a year.

No dunking, makes them soggy. smile

GabriellaG54 Fri 27-Mar-20 18:06:14

I've tried dipping into hot choc, coffee, and tea but tea wins hands down for me.

phoenix Fri 27-Mar-20 18:00:40

Quite enjoy a dunk, depending on the beverage and the bisuit!

Nice (as in the city) definitely not a biscuit for the novice dunker! wink

GabriellaG54 Fri 27-Mar-20 17:57:23

Are you a licker, a splitter, a dainty dipper, serious cruncher, naughty nibbler, serial sucker, determined dunker or a whole in one-er?
Crumbs!
Yes indeed, we're talking biscuits.
Which are you and what are your 3 favourites?
Mind you...only your top 3 will count.
