Good morning everyone from blue skyed West Berkshire.

Long walk this morning planned - 5 miles along a recently created recreational track on a former railway line that was closed in the 60s . It runs between 2 villages .

Will then make some curried parsnip soup for lunch .

I have some plants to pot up for the patio which will entertain me for a while .

I then plan on doing some ‘how to knit’ ? theory on YouTube and other sites recommend to me by some lovely ladies on another thread . Learning a new skill is good for the brain , will hopefully entertain me and be useful too .

Don’t forget ‘ 6 feet apart or 6 feet under ‘

Good morning from a grey Northampton. Looks cold too. I have just had to put a blanket over my legs to stop one of the cats from nipping my ankles! A funny way to show affection! She is now sitting on my feet.

Did not sleep well; kept waking up from weird and scary dreams.

Hooray, I cut the grass yesterday! Front and back. And then let the cats out in the sunshine - they had a good play and explore, watched the birds and sunbathed. After about 40 minutes they'd had enough, and went and sat by the back door ready to go in. For those who are wondering, they are indoor pedigree cats, and only go out under supervision.

No plans for today other than the usual pottering and cleaning. Read the papers and my book, do the puzzles and crosswords.

Stay safe everyone.

Good morning from east London, very fresh this morning with beautiful blue skies. One bin emptied, one more to go. We have had an advisory email from the local councillor to say things may not run as smoothly as we wish with the new system but fine by me so far. Also had an email for a virtual choir practice on Saturday for the event which is/was due to take place in July. I find it very hard to exercise indoors; never was an aerobics/gym person so need my walk every day. Tomato seedlings are through; I hate growing any away so perhaps I’ll have to cover the garden with pots, given the new lawn planned will not happen for a while. DP has been emptying/sorting the garden sheds; one of them started to fall to pieces as he took stuff out. The other one, he wants to repair. I call it the sitooterie, fat chance of sitting in it but I just love that work. Have a good day.

Morning Mick and All.

A lovely sunny morning here in South Bucks on the first day of April.

I hope you are enjoying reruns of the cycling Mick I am watching the tennis from a year or two back and enjoying it.

DH is off to do a fresh veg shop at Sainsbury’s, then will scurry home to decontaminate.

The Internet in our house is in constant use.

See you tomorrow.

Good Morning all from East Staffordshire. Looks a little grey out there today.
Working from home today, DH is going into the factory to get on with an order we got yesterday. He needs to do a stock take too.
I will take another bike ride with the pooch today as she seems to really like it.
I will attempt a bake today, I will try Marydoll’s Macaroon Bars.
I am going to clear my wardrobe out today, I will bag all the clothes up and put in the garage for when the charity shop is open again. I am tempted to clear DH’s wardrobe out too, but that wouldn’t go down well!! He has clothes older than our children?
Take care everyone and keep yourselves both mind and body active and stay safe❤️

Good morning all from a cloudy wet Inverness ☹️

Usual day for me today, although I’ve got a Tesco delivery to look forward to this afternoon!

DD made chocolate brownies with the DGC yesterday and normally would have sent some round to us. All I got yesterday was a photo ....

Hope everyone finds something to enjoy today and stay safe everyone ?

Good morning Mick and everyone.

Some blue sky in Kent. DH and I will go to Tesco for the wrinklies hour. I will wait in the car whilst he shops. Hopefully the pharmacy has my prescription I requested last Monday.
Stay safe everyone.

Goodmorning Mick and all x

Brightening up here in S E Essex.

I am having such trouble sleeping at the moment, I wake up three or four times and struggle to go back to sleep each time.
I guess it is the change in routine due to being confined to barracks.

Not sure what is on the agenda for today, will search the freezer for chicken thighs for a Thai Green Curry for dinner before the herbs and chillis are past their best. The GC requested ribs and chips which is doable as I shall cook a whole rack which means he can have ribs tonight and Grandmas pulled pork tomorrow

Keep safe and well folks.

Good Morning everyone from a dry Severnside.

Yesterday was a little better from being a lazy oaf the day before. I will carry on with my sewing and pottering today.

Stay as safe as possible and take care ?
