I've been watching YouTube. Lots of great old films and TV series on their. I rarely watch the BBC, the left wing bias is boring.

I would love to see Cold Feet and Call of Duty from the beginning as I missed out on them at the start. I'm too mean to pay for a subscription or box set. I suspect the latter may not be too comforting.
Only Fools and Horses hits the spot every time.

Cannot think of anything worse than old drama series. If I watched them the first time round I don't want to watch them again and if I didn't watch them the first time it's because they didn't appeal. I prefer to watch quiz programmes and things like Michael Portillo's railway journeys. I've made myself a rule not to watch tv for the sake of it so if there is not anything I actually want to watch I leave the television to DH and go into another room and read or do puzzles. I've got enough books on my kindle to last me for months.

I cannot stand the stupid comments by Harry Hill on You've Been Framed. I just have to leave the room as soon as that man comes on in whatever he is doing.
And yes the funeral plan adverts along with equity release, life insurance for when 'we have gone' and why would anyone want to go on a cruise? should be archived.
There are so many good series that could be repeated and I do find much more interesting things are on late at night and early morning.

Oh yes, Craftycat! I was enchanted by The Snow Spider yesterday. What can I say? It has to be seen.

I like old and clunky British films. I bought some on DVD. Yesterday I watched a 1945 Gainsborough film called 'A Place of One's Own' with James Mason and Margaret Lockwood. Quite a good ghost story actually.

Yes, adverts that picture people congregating are like the ads we see on Antiques Road Show portraying people smoking.

I wonder how soon we will see ads with people keeping six feet away from each other , and the nice people who use product XYZ moving pout of the path of cripples and ancient ladies.

There could be an advert for dog food showing how the kindly dog who eats Wowff has consolled a small child confined to a small flat.

Nothing I am watching on Tv at the moment except for the news.

My husband likes watching the Talking Pictures channel.

I like watching programmes such as 'Vera', 'Endeavor', 'Hidden', 'Dr. Who' and 'Line of Duty'.

We've had the early Morse programmes recorded for months and DH kept threatening to delete them. You can be sure he's glad that we didn't. Yes they're dated, but good yarns and fortunately I can't remember much about them first time round.

I'm attempting to catch up on some of the recordings I've made over the years and not had time to watch!

Does anyone remember Frost in May? A young Patsy Kensit was in early episodes, was a brilliant programme. I must look up to see if it's still available anywhere.

The Cedar Tree..loved that series from the 70's and odd but used to rush home from school to watch Peyton Place.

We have Virgin TV. The Good Life, Only Fools and Horses, Last of the Summer Wine, Dad's Army, and more are available on the "Gold" channel 124 on Virgin. Drama channel 130 has many more old series e.g. Lovejoy, Sharpe, Auf Wiedersehen Pet and many more. Agree that I would love to see the whole Downton series, Jewel in the Frown and Forsyte saga among others. The new channel Talking Pictures on 445 has many old B & W films which I am enjoying.
