What a lovely day of weather! The sun definitely shone on the righteous today! smile All because I folded the patio sunshade yesterday to store in the garage before it got wet again 23C, clear blue sky, sitting back in the sun-lounger and watching the gardener. "gardening"! grin
Noted a couple of threads going hammer and tongs (or should that be tongues?) about Corvid19 and all related topics.
Boris has been there and fortunately come back, full of praise for the NHS with special thanks for 2 nurses. It was good to see.
Unfortunately Tasmania has had to close 2 hospitals, but at least there's no pussy-footing around.
Also noted that Australia was mentioned only once in the ongoing "debate" ,or blame game about whose at fault regarding your astronomical death rates. In the circumstances we have a remarkably low casualty rate (NSW leads) and OZ is probably he best country to be in having instigated controls very early in the "pandemic"!
There are several vested interest groups now agitating for immediate relaxation of the rules, but we believe ScoMo is tough enough to resist the red-necks! hmm.
Ellan What's all this "Cobber" about? grin We've already established a :"Buddy" roll of honour, but I don't think you are naughty enough to take over fatgran's seat on the bench! grin
This is becoming an Aussie language course, having previously sorted out misconceptions regarding "Pommie"!; we are still a classless society!
So sorry to hear of Tim Brookes death, from Corvic of all things, and also Sir Stirling Moss. sad, and on that rather sad note;
Good Health wine
