I'm really disappointed! ??

I have had it the other way round for a business meeting. I thought it was a phone call but ended up as Face Time. I was not a pretty sight!

I had a Skype interview this morning. My hair is currently an unsightly blend of light gingery orange and grey. I had to keep the lighting dim to disguise it.

Don’t forget to turn off your camera when you’ve finished your video call or this may happen!

I love not bothering with how I look and slopping around in pjs all morning - just great!

So funny but lovely. I make a point of hair done and makeup on every morning. I do it for me.

A similar thing happened to me, kitty. DD messaged to say she would Skype me so I did my hair and make up and made sure there was no overflowing laundry basket in the background.

She phoned me on the landline.

This is funny I always go out with watch on Lipstick on and earrings in have not had them in since the day we locked down!,

...but finding it was audio only must have made you secretly laugh. I know I would have laughed at myself...then wondered if they had turned video on whilst I was laughing?

It shows you cared enough to make a good impression and who would argue with that.

The thing is, I always wonder what the outlook is like beyond closed curtains in that kind of scenario or when people are interviewed on tv during the daytime.
Probably has something to do with the light and also distracts the viewer if the scene behind is a busy one.

Sometimes dressing the part makes you feel it's more professional rather than pj bottoms and scraggy hair. ??
