Puzzler61 Good luck with the clippers..I did my DH hair at the weekend, was trying to work out if I had them the right way round then suddenly noticed he a big bald patch! So he now has a very short 'covid cut'!!

Morning all from my bit of Leicestershire where it is actually raining a bit.

I hope something can be done for Dexter, Dragonfly - it is quite a responsibility for you.

Lovely sort of daughter in law brought us some wine round last night and we had a good chat - she on the drive, me at the door - luckily it wasnt raining then!

I have 4 'companionship calls' to do today - the admin that goes along with it is a bit silly though considering it's only a chat.

Good morning from wet West Berks .

Yesterday I did all the housework that needed doing . Not a huge amount because as i’m not working ( furloughed ) there’s plenty of time to keep on top of it . I still have a rule of no ‘ jobs’ at the weekend though .

Hoping for a healthy peaceful day ☮️ for everyone.

I’m going to take a look at the recent thread about ‘Favourite Movies’ choose one I haven’t seen , try to find it and plonk myself down and watch it whilst knitting baby hats and drinking coffee.

Good Morning early risers. Yup, it’s raining with heavy skies in Worcs. too. I’ve woken early, partly because my kitty companion decides when I wake up (with a persistent patting of her paw on my nose and chin) and partly because I’m worrying a bit about my Job for the Day. DH got delivery of his hair clippers and wants me to give him a haircut.
We’ve watched YouTube for a tutorial but I feel 1 hour’s training is probably not going to be enough for his exacting standards.
Other than that today I will open my new Woman & Home magazine that comes monthly in the post (a lovely gift to me), and am going to make a full blown roast tea this evening. We didn’t have one at the weekend as the weather was so warm, not so now unfortunately.
Take care all especially those still working, those with poorly relatives and pets. ?

Morning from an unexpectedly wet E Kent. Not pouring though. I always say that we are the Gobi of the UK, it hardly ever rains...
Nothing much on today again, just a walk. dragonfly, so sorry about Dexter. Hope the vet can help.
Keep well and safe

Good morning from murky Leicestershire, the hills have disappeared.

Really bad night - have to take Dexter to the vet hospital this morning as his eye has got worse. I am not sure what they can do.

Hope everyone has a good day.

Good Morning everyone from Severnside where it is grey and wettter than a wet thing!

I hope your friend knows the answer if you don’t Mick ??

My day will be spent indoors and finding something to do.

Not that long ago I read The Other Boleyn Girl by PG Urm. I don’t usually bother with historical books but I thought I’d give it ago as DD lent it to me and I was surprised to find I enjoyed it.
I’ll just pop off to make another cuppa as I haven’t got a chamber pot.

Look after yourselves all ?
