Greggs will not be opening

GabriellaG54 I so agree with you! Every time I come over to England, I grab one of their pasties from the stall at Gatwick and eat it all before getting on the train.

Best c&o pasties are from the Cornish Pasty company. Huge, crusty burning hot and crammed full with the filling of choice.

Greggs coffee is good.

Purple.....I hate snobbery when directed at a person, but if directed at a food outlet, that’s a different matter.
The picture conjured up by the OP was amusing, I imagined a vast crowd thundering towards Greggs eager to get their hands on a sausage roll.

I hate all of this snobbery when it comes to Greggs. I love their cheese and onion pasties. My DH says he would never be seen dead in a one. Haha!! It wasn't until after he had eaten his sandwiches, while on holiday once, that I told it was from Greggs. Oh you should have seen his face!!! ? He did say it was OK afterwards. I hate snobbery.

I am waiting for Costa to reopen.

I have missed their coffee so much, that when they do I suspect I will be first in the door coffee ☕️!

I do like a Greggs pasty. I’ve done my level best to prefer the ones sold at the posh independent baker round the corner from them in our town, but Greggs’ are far superior (and half the price).

You can get Greggs frozen from Iceland and cook it at home!
