Today's theme; "Stop The World; I Want to Get Off!"
There's even a queue forming!
Anthony Newley (mad!)
No need to panic;' Queensland's favourite beer, "XXXX" is flowing far and wide again so we can hopefully farewell Corvid in style.
The "Rules" are gradually being relaxed by individual States; TV News showed last night, pier fishermen casting rods at precisely midnight. They must have been idiots.
Freezing cold, raining and they were rugged up to the eye-balls, but no fish were displayed. Pity the poor TV crew!
Working from home is becoming very popular and could become the new norm. Much reduced commuter traffic, no need for formal office gear. Predictions are for a glut of CBD office space sometime down the track with reduced need for cleaning/ catering staff etc.
Success with UK mag The Railways Mag. March issue arrived today, so there's hope yet for "The Oldie".
Cold this morning 5C, but heated up to 13C by mid-afternoon when a weak sun appeared briefly. Son's family in Brisbane found 24C chilly today!
Megs Looks like you won't be needing the naughty stool, for now anyway, seeing as how all that commotion has died down.! Some are probably still reciting "i before e except after c"!
Jane Did I hear right that you had something to watch out for in The Oldie"? I've discovered my April edition: in the scanner waiting to be scanned! That arrived early April, so maybe I'm worrying about nothing over the May issue.
We'll see! Meanwhile, Good Health Everyone,
