Good evening Rufus. I was disappointed that the jokes had dried up too.

Just the German episode of Fawlty Towers has been taken off. John Cleese not impressed!

Glad to hear your cardio results were good.

Just written bling message congratulating you on successful cardio check and telling you of my eye check! Lost the whole thing so can’t do it again.
Our parole walks haven’t lasted long due to change in the weather and disinterest!!

I agree about stupid idiots on demos, No social distancing to be seen. And don’t All Lives Matter regardless of colour. I’d better shut up.
Cheers Rufus hope your weekend is good, never kow whether it’s weekend or not now.....?‍♀️?‍♀️?????

What a sad day ! Nobody has offered any jokes lately; a "humour" thread started up , but seems to have disappeared and to round off the day, TV news channel reported that "Fawlty Towers" is or has been deleted. Wasn't clear if all episodes or the one shown with the German guests and "Don't mention the war"! The DVDs will be worth a fortune as collectors' items! I still treasure my "In Sickness and in Health"! Doubt that the BBC will repeat that! hmm

Jane You must be very resilient to binge watch "Boardwalk Empire" for a whole month. inspite of, or because of "appalling sex and violence" I know nothing about it and, btw' I had another look at Leon, but sorry, still no thanks! hmm
I'd rather listen to bagpipes provided they are en masse as at the Royal Military Tattoo at Edinburgh Castle Solo, No!
Not long ago a poster put up a photo of him self holding his bagpipe in the kitchen, but obviously posing and not playing because the lady at the bench only 2 metres away didn't have her ears covered! grin

My copy of "This England" quarterly mag. has a gift catalogue showing "The Stewart Granger Collection 12 DVD set.. 1,182 mins. Can't organise complimentary gifts for fear of flouting GN laws concerning "anonymity" sad
Pity 'cos there are some lovely gift hampers such as; "Plentiful Larder" only £84.00 UK only! envy

Glad to say that my Cardio "consultation over the telephone produced no alarm bells; "that's $110.00, thank you very much and see you in 12 months!"
A Govt. rebate follows from Medicare which depends how much over the recommended fee schedule she's charged, which they all do, leaving the patient to cough up the balance known as "The Gap"
No quibbles if the report is good.
More Covid restrictions will be lifted by mid-July. Meanwhile, the Fed. Govt., the State Govts, their respective Health Depts and Police are issuing daily warnings of the dangers of mass demos. The idiots just won't listen!

Btw; if you'd rather be read to rather than read, look at the recent "Archive" thread, especially if you are an Agatha Christie fan! Enough there to keep your mind off things, thanks to "The Oldie"
Good Health wine wine wine
