How time flies when you're enjoying yourself! Monday is when our rubbish bins go out, collected very early tomorrow, brought back in and then next week is upon us in no time!
Yes, Megs! They can't do blood letting over the phone, but they can do "cash extractions" over the phone quick as a flash!
Fortunately the path. lab people only charge the Govt.. scheduled fee so there is no patient top-up required. They require only about 5ml, unlike the "armful" as in Tony Hancock's classic! ,so no profit in on-selling, even though I'm a B+ve., from my Gypsy origins, so I'm told!
Maybe that's why we roamed down to OZ!?
Our politicians have resumed their usual battles, with one MP having to resign because of "branch-stacking" accusations; pretty quick about it too, because they usually tend to bluff anything out until the bitter end.
Again fortunately, no significant Covid flare-ups to report, with several more relaxations promised for mid-July.
Our Bowls/Social club has been shut down ever since, but there's a (slim?) chance the Bistro could be operational again by the end of July! We're given a $20.00 voucher for birthdays to be spent in the bistro, so it could be touch and go as mine expires end of July; and I'm not thinking "touch the wrong thing and go to ICU!"
Weather rather indifferent! 18C tomorrow so can't complain, it being officially Winter and only 6 days to the shortest!
I hope your eye incident is nothing serious; when I told my eye doc that I believed my mother in England was being treated for glaucoma, incorrect apparently, he invoked the hereditary clause and put me on daily eye drops, but it appears to be only precautionary.
I'm very happy that my recent brain CAT scan showed nothing; go on, say it! I'll stick with the ear crystals!
Nearly 11.30pm so early night tonight!
Btw Megs I see you've cut your drinks by 25% Goodonya!
Good Health Everyone
